Hello all my ghoulie fiends!!..I just thought today I would take some time out to give everyone a little update on how things are going. Seeing I haven't been able to post to much new stuff lately...sorry for that folks.

So for starts I am working on a short story for issue#2 of McHozer Comics Deadmen & Poodleskirts! My short in this issue is called Die Baby! for those who may not know I worked on issue #1, The story I did for that one was called Dead Menace which can be bought on Indyplanet.com, now back to the Die Baby! short...it's coming close to and end,I only have a few more pages to ink and one page left to draw been a hell of a fun project and i'm very happy with how the pages look! I will let you all know when it's done and printed!

Midnight Spookshow!,MS is going to be a horror anthology series but in a more magazine size format packed with extras which I can't talk to much about right now. It once was under the name Tales Of Dusk, but I have gone back to the drawing more so to speak and revamping it all up and it will be a mature rated series without a doubt. What I can tell you is that it will be sort of like the old Tales From The Crypt and Creepy comics both of which I am a huge fan of. The first tale in Issue#1 is called "Trespassers Will Be Slaughtered" I don't want to give to much detail away about the story but just think of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Wrong Turn series of horror movies..in this story a classic slasher is born! Right now for that story i'm still doing some writing and sketches and also have the first couple pages planned out for the story. I hope to have teasers up as soon as possible. Issue#1 will be a jumbo packed full of extras and will have 2-4 tales depending on the size of the stories and cost seeing i'm doing this indy style on my own with a little bit of help,unless a publisher wants to help me outAlso for tale one of MS I am also in the works on working up a short film screenplay for Trespassers Will Be Slaughtered which is alot of fun keeps me busy as hell though.

I am also going over the idea of doing a Art Of TypH sketch book with all my horror movie sketches and some other horror sketches! also thinking about doing up some horror sketch cards for commission and maybe some prints and posters if they would sell. Let me know what you think folks!

New ART!!!! here's a piece I did for my ever so amazing girlfriend. She wanted to see her self as a sort of zombie type monsters so here what I came up with. Haven't gotten around to inking it yet but hope you all like it so far folks! Here is a little side by side shot that Brittany put together, no the piece is not inked yet haha,she was just playing around with it being a Graphic Artist and what not. The piece isn't 100% the same as the original, I guess I should have looked at the photo more then twice for placement,but for the most part they are a close match I find.

Billy Van Sketch

NEW PIECE! tonight I thought I would show off the pencils for my new piece of horror movie fan art. This piece is based off everyones favourite crazy killer doll Chucky! Boris Karloff As The Monster Of Frankenstein

New piece! sorry for the delay folks been working on pages an went away for a bit. Here is a piece I have been waiting awhile to do now. I've always been a big fan of Boris Karloff as Frankenstein. I think it's one of the best if not the best frankenstein movies out there for sure. I also plan on doing a normal piece or two of him an one of him as the mummy but not sure when yet, but enough about that here are the pencils & inks for my version of Boris Karloff as The Monster Of Frankenstein! Night Of The Living Dead

So I finally got my first in a series of Night of The Living Dead pieces done. I plan on doing at least 2 or 3 more, seeing Night of The Living Dead 68 is my all time favourite movie. Gulliver Brimstone:Freakshow...heres an older piece from last year that I did for my first comic from Speakeasy Primates called Gulliver Brimstone. I did the drawing of course an Scott Claringbold did the writing for it an we created the character design together. At first he was gonna look alot like Hellboy but I decided to change it up alot an heres what I came up with. This piece was done after the first ASH CAN of the comic...there hasn't been really anything new for him lately, but there might be some new stuff comming soon. I will keep you all posted on that. Hope you like this old classic piece!

Well it's another Friday night, another 5 Bloody Finger movie review time! Tonight movie is one that I came across last year on the SPACE channel. A fun new take on the zombie movies. Tonights movie is FIDO! hope you enjoy it folks!

Plot: The film takes place in a 1950s-esque alternate universe where radiation from space has turned the dead into zombies. This radiation still plagues humanity, as all those who die after the original contamination turn into the undead. In order to continue living normal lives, communities are fenced with the help of a governing corporation named Zomcon. Zomcon provides collars with accompanying remote controls to control the zombies' hunger for flesh so as to use them as slaves or servants.
In the town of Willard, whose name is a reference to the town in the original 1968 Night of the Living Dead, housewife Helen Robinson buys a zombie in spite of her husband Bill's zombie phobia. Their son, Timmy, befriends the zombie, naming him "Fido". One day Fido's collar malfunctions and he kills their next door neighbor, who turns into a zombie. Timmy "kills" the zombified neighbor.
When a pair of local bullies are blamed for the missing neighbor, they capture Fido and Timmy. Fido escapes and runs to find Helen, who comes and rescues Timmy from the bullies (who, through misadventure and Fido's hunger for human flesh, are now zombies), and they try to forget about the whole thing. Several days later, the neighbor's body is found and the murder is traced back to Fido, who is taken away to Zomcon where the public is told he will be destroyed. Timmy learns through a friend (the daughter of Zomcon's security chief) that Fido is simply working in a factory at Zomcon. Timmy sets out to rescue him with the help of another next door neighbor (a former Zomcon employee who was forced into early retirement when it was discovered he was in a romantic relationship with his female zombie). Meanwhile, Timmy locates Fido, but is captured by Zomcon's security chief, who attempts to throw Timmy into the zombie-infested "wild zone" that exists outside of the fenced communities. Bill comes to the rescue and is killed by the security chief, who is killed by Fido. Timmy is set free and the film ends with Fido, Helen and Timmy and a few neighbors happily enjoying their new domestic lives together.

My Thoughts: I didn't know a single thing about this moving going into watching it the first time, but boy am I happy I watched it. It's a very fun an new take on the zombie movie gerne. It has a nice setting time period, which I found was pulled of great. The concept behind the movie of having zombies as pets I found to be really funny to an original an fresh. It's not a serious zombie gore movie but for what it's worth an what it pulls off it's a really great movie an a must see for zombie fans. I give this one a 4 out of 5 Bloody Fingers.

It's another Friday night folks, which means a new Five Finger movie review, tonight pick is a more modern day slasher called HATCHET!

Plot: The film opens on two hunters, Sampson and his son, Ainsley, fishing in a swamp during a full moon. The two don't seem to like each other that much, and Ainsley keeps saying he has to use the restroom, making Sampson row their boat to shore. While Ainsley is urinating, Sampson falls silent so Ainsley goes to see where he is and finds Sampson's mutilated body. He grabs his harpoon and panics, only to be attacked by a strong, monstrous being who rips his arm off, pulls part of his spine out and rips his body in half. The setting switches during the credits to a Mardi Gras celebration in downtown New Orleans. In the middle of this mob is a group of friends including Ben and his best friend Marcus, who have come to have some fun, since Ben's girlfriend of eight years recently dumped him. Ben decides to go on a haunted swamp tour to escape the madness of Mardi Gras, and Marcus hesitantly agrees to go with him. The two then go to the swamp tour registry, only to find that the tour is closed because the tour guide, Rev. Zombie, was sued. Rev. Zombie then suggests that they try a place farther down the street, owned by the over-the-top, cheesy, inexperienced tour guide, Shawn. Once they arrive, Marcus decides to leave but changes his mind upon seeing two topless girls: Misty, a ditzy porn star, and Jenna, a bossy, boastful, up-and-coming actress. Their sleazy porn director, Shapiro, is also there. Ben pays for both himself and Marcus and Shawn leads all five of them to his tour bus, where the other tourists, Mr. and Mrs. Permatteo, a Minnesota couple, and the quiet, hot-tempered Marybeth, are waiting.
As the tour begins, Ben tries to make friends with Marybeth, who rudely rejects him, and Marcus takes a liking to Jenna. Shawn obviously doesn't know what he's doing, and the others start to catch on just as he arrives at the swamp. Shapiro has Misty and Jenna strip down and film a scene for Bayou Beavers as everyone gets onto the boat, while a homeless swamp-dweller tries to warn them away from the swamp. Shawn takes them anyway, touring through boring swamplands and past abandoned houses, including one where Victor Crowley, a deformed creature, lived. Shawn mentions "one night Victor's dad goes crazy and whacks him in the face with a hatchet" while looking at "ghost lights"; however, Mrs. Permatteo sees someone in the trees, and Shawn accidentally crashes into a rock, sinking the boat. To reach land, they must walk across a broken tree. While crossing, Mr. Permatteo is bitten on the leg by an alligator, making him, Misty, and Shapiro fall into the water. They all get to shore and run to safety, while Mr. Permatteo bleeds profusely. They realize that Shawn isn't an actual tour guide; he's just a college student looking for money. Marybeth takes out a gun she brought and informs them that her father and brother, Sampson and Ainsley, disappeared while fishing nearby, presumably at the hands of Victor Crowley. She then tells them the real story of Victor Crowley.
Long ago, presumably the 1940s-1960s, Crowley was a deformed boy who was kept hidden from the world by his loving father. One Halloween night, a group of kids decided to scare Victor by throwing fire works into his house, but instead the house was engulfed in flames. Victor's father returned home and tried to hack down the door with a hatchet to save him. Because he did not realize that Victor was pressed up against the other side of the door tring to get out, he hit him in the face with the hatchet, killing him. Victor's father died of a broken heart 10 years later. Marybeth tells them that Victor still roams the swamp, as a vengeful spirit, killing anyone who enters.
Victor mostly kills people near his house, which they all are standing in front of. Mrs. Permatteo becomes infuriated with how scared everyone is and decides to help her husband into the house herself. While walking up to the house, Victor emerges and hacks Mr. Permatteo in half, making everyone run away, except for a frightened Mrs. Permatteo, who then has her head ripped in half by Victor's bare hands. Marybeth shoots Victor, but only makes him fall.
The others finally meet up with each other, while Shapiro runs off farther into the swamp, where he has his head twisted off by Victor. Marcus has climbed a tree, and with some encouragement comes down from the tree, only to attack Shawn for getting them all in this mess. Ben separates them, and Marcus decides to take charge, asking if anyone else has a secret. Jenna confesses that she does not go to NYU, the college she was bragging about, instead she went to Hofstra. They then discover Shapiro's body and equipment and find out that he really wasn't a porn director, but a slimy businessman who just wanted to start a porn collection on his own. Marybeth suggests that they go back to the Crowley house to get some weapons, and all six of them head back to the house. Jenna, Shawn, Marcus, and Misty stand guard, while Marybeth and Ben go into the shed to get weapons, but find Sampson and Ainsley's bodies instead. Ben comforts Marybeth, and they grab a shovel and a pitchfork, while the others begin to get scared by noises in the bushes. All of a sudden, Jenna is grabbed from behind a tree by Victor, who uses a gas powered belt sander to sand off her lower jaw, while the others scream, and Marybeth and Ben arrive with the weapons. Marybeth hits Victor with the shovel, making him fall and get stabbed with the pitchfork by Ben. Shawn goes to grab the shovel but Victor grabs it first, chopping off his leg with it, and then decapitating him while the others run away. As Jenna, now-jawless, crawls on the ground, choking on her own blood, Victor takes the wounded girl and impales her on the shovel then chases after the remaining survivors.
The others finally slow down and decide to lure Victor back to his house and set him on fire with the gasoline tanks in the shed. They quietly head back to the house, and Ben goes into the shed to get a full gasoline tank, while Misty stands guard and Marybeth and Marcus act as bait to lure Victor to his demise. While Ben is trying to find a full tank, Marybeth and Marcus discover that Misty is missing, and her head and torso are thrown onto Ben by Victor. Ben finds a full tank and throws it on Victor, while Marybeth and Marcus set him on fire, only to have it rain and put the fire out.
The three begin to run through the cemetery they passed and find that the gate is locked, and Ben is tackled by Victor who spits up[clarification needed] in his face but is then dragged to safety. They start to run away but Marcus gets grabbed by Victor and has his arms ripped off and then his head smashed against a tombstone. Victor then grabs a gate stake/pole and chases Ben and Marybeth, throwing it into Ben's foot. Marybeth bends the pole until it's pointed right at Victor who is running towards them and is impaled on the pole. Ben and Marybeth then get onto Sampson's abandoned boat and head out into the water, where Marybeth is pulled in, getting twisted up in the seaweed. She finally sees Ben's arm sticking down in the water for her to grab, and is pulled up by Victor who is holding a dying Ben's severed forearm, and the film ends with Victor holding her screaming, until the credits roll.

My Thoughts: I thought this was a decent horror slasher, for sure not the best out there, put I thought it gave off a nice vintage feel to the 80's which I really enjoyed alot. I found the movie very entertaining from start to finish,could be a little more serious an some more gore but still a great movie all around. I can't wait for part 2 really happy there's some more modern day slasher movies being made. I give this flick a 4 out of 5 Bloody Fingers!

Horror Banner for Mike&Chuck Horror site

heres is a banner for a site im doing called "Mike & Chucks Blog Of The Dead" heres there link: http://www.mikeandchuckhorror.blogspot.com/ shoucld check it out some good stuff folks!, well they asked for a banner with 4 classic characters them being Jason,Leatherface,Michael & Freddy, they also asked for some zombies so of course I had to add Flyboy & Bub to the mix sorry you didn't make it in FIDO maybe next time haha. Then I also added in my favourite horror movie of all well next to Leatherface of course My Bloody Valentine. The last character I added was pumpkinhead it was hard picking seeing theres so many great ones out there I was gonna go The Tall Man but decided not to. I hope you all like it anyways, inks should be comming soon!

Monster Making 101 FIDO

Hello my horrific fiends! it's Monster Makin' 101 time an I'm the artist on it what no way! Dan was nice enough to offer me the chance to be one of the artist for the Monster Makin' 101 section over at Horrornewsnetwork.net an being the nice guy I am I took him up on the offer. For my Monster Makin' 101 piece I picked to do a piece based off my new Horror Movie Fan Art line. A classic new zombie movie called FIDO so sit back an enjoy the 5 easy steps that I take when making a piece like this.

Step1: I take a colored led for a mechpencil usually green or any color that I have. The reason i do this is just to get the general shape of the piece together. Also the colored led doesn't show up on grayscale scan once it's all inked an finished."the scan not the best seeing it's done in color scan but yeah ha ha"
Step2: The next step is I take my 4H lead art pencil & I will go over all the green an start mapping out the hair an nose,mouth, eyes etc. Note never press hard on the lead or put alot of time an detail into it just yet, cause if your like me you might change it about 4 times or more before your happy ha ha

Step3 & 4: This is where more of the fun stuff starts to come in, I usually do this all in one step but I thought i would break it into two, to well make it longer ha ha. This is where you start adding more facial details to the eyes an what ever other detail you might like to make your piece come to life more. Then once you get the detail done you start working on the shading for the piece. With this one I had a general idea where the shading would be so I mapped out where the blacks would be an then added the detail from there. Also in this step you can add in a background if you want to have one, I just added in a basic one to take up most of the boring white space.
Step5: The last an final step for me, seeing I don't add my own colors yet. This is where you make the piece more bold an make it "pop" more with a nice layer of Black ink, For this step I used a 0.1 Staedtler Pigment Liner for the whole piece 11x14' alot of ink ha ha. All & all I think it's a great piece an great for my Horror Movie Fan Art line of pieces. I hope you all enjoyed it folks, give it a shot if you dare!

Jeepers Creepers-2001

So it's another Friday, wow seems like the weeks going by fast ha ha. This week I picked a more modern movie which I will admit I'm a fan of ha ha gotta review some crappy movies sometimes maybe ha ha. Tonight movie is a modern day slasher in my opinion it's the Creeper...Jeeper Creepers that is!

Plot: The film chronicles a day in the life of siblings, Trish (portrayed by Gina Philips) and her brother Darry Jenner (played by Justin Long) coming home from college. As they drive through the North Florida countryside in their 1960 Chevrolet Impala, a mysterious driver in a rusty old delivery truck tries to run them off the road. After letting the vehicle pass them, they later see the same truck, in the distance off the side of the road, with a hulking man sliding what looks to be bodies covered with blood stained sheets, into a large pipe sticking out of the ground next to an old abandoned church.
The driver, taking note that they have seen him, catches up to them and tries to run them off the road a second time, Darry insists they go back and investigate. Darry orders Trish to hold his feet while he looks into the pipe. Rats appear in front of him and he jerks and screams, causing Trish to lose her grip on his legs, and he slides down the pipe cutting himself. At the bottom, he finds hundreds of bodies sewn together, covering the walls of a massive cavern beneath the church. Darry can not reach the end of the pipe which looms above his head, so he looks around and finally finds a passage up through the church. Visibly traumatized by what he has seen, he and Trish flee the scene and stop at a gas station where they contact the police. While waiting for the cops to arrive, they are phoned by a local psychic, Jezelle Gay Hartman, who warns them that they are in terrible danger. She plays the song "Jeepers Creepers" on the phone, and tells them that when they hear that song, they will be in extreme danger. Badly frightened, they ignore her warning. Word arrives that the old church had gone up in flames and all evidence of any bodies has been destroyed. Trish and Darry rush out of the gas station with the police providing a security escort.
As they travel, the police are attacked and killed by the mysterious driver of the old truck. While Trish and Darry flee the scene, the driver loads the policemen's bodies into his truck. Darry and Trish try to get help from a local eccentric, but the mysterious driver catches up to them, the woman attempts to kill him with a shotgun but he jumps out of the way and kills her. They manage to hit the mysterious driver with their car, and run him over several times. After crushing the mysterious driver's body, they realized its inhuman nature when what appears to be a giant wing begins to flap around. Leaving it on the road, they drive to the local police station to wait for their parents, but Jezelle shows up and warns them they are still in danger.
Jezelle tells them the true nature of the mysterious creature: it is an ancient demon known as "The Creeper", which rises every twenty-third spring for twenty-three days to feast on human body parts which, upon consumption, form part of its own body. She also tells them that it seeks out its victims through fear, and that by smelling the fear from Trish and Darry, it has found something it likes, but she does not know what.
The wounded Creeper attacks the police station and gains entrance to the cells. After it feasts on prisoners to heal, it is swarmed by police, but kills a number of them. Jezelle guides Trish and Darry upstairs, telling them one of them will die, screaming in the dark while the song "Jeepers Creepers" plays in the background. The Creeper heads towards Jezelle and sniffs her, but lets her go, and heads off to find Trish and Darry.
The Creeper catches up and captures Darry. Trish tries to reason with it, and attempts to give her life for her brother's. The police burst in and take aim, but the Creeper escapes out the window with Darry. The next day, Trish, contemplating Darry's fate, is picked up by her parents, and Jezelle returns home in regret.
The final scene shows the Creeper in its new hideout, an abandoned meat packing plant, where the audience finally learns what the Creeper wanted: by ripping out the back of Darry's head, it has taken his eyes, leaving Darry's body an eyeless, motionless corpse, while "Jeepers Creepers" is playing in the background.
In a brief shot after the credits, the Creeper's truck drives by the camera, with the driver side window rolled down and the Creeper smiling at the audience while blaring its ghastly horn.

My Thoughts: I personally think this movie is the base of modern day slashers, I think it's a movie & character that will stand the best of times an be around for a long time at least I hope so. We horror fans need more modern day Slashers not to say Freddy,Michael & Jason aren't great but we need a new breed of killers, back to the movie at hand, I think the story is pretty decent, could be better in parts for sure, But what I think really make this movie great is The Creeper. I think the look of him is very classic slasher looking an the character concept of how he is an he needs to take peoples parts to stay alive I thought was great. The movie does a good job of keeping you on the edge of your seat cause you never really know what he's gonna do next or how he's gonna get you. I can't wait to see more of this character. While looking it up earlier, I found a rumor that part 3 is being made an will be out in 2011 so lets hope so I know I will be waiting to see it! Now this movie isn't perfect by far but I do give it a solid 4.5 Bloody Fingers out of 5!

Deviant Art Contest Entry

Heres another older piece from a year or so back when I was still doing superhero work. This one was done for a contest on Deviant Art that I came across for One Eyed Joe comic I think thats it can't remember now haha. You had to create your own character fighting One Eyed Joe so I created Eh-Man! Overall I'm still have with this piece, not perfect by far Eh! Man stomach area could be a little thicker for my liking an some other small details but I thought I would show it anyways, hope you like it folks!

Here's some older spawn sketches that I did up. I never got around to inking them, still have them on desk some where with all the other sketches ha ha. The first one is of Spawn him self of course. Always been a huge fan on him, one of the reasons I got into comics in general he's just bad ass to me. I hope you like it folks!Next is a piece done up of The Violator another very cool character in general I think, an was a lot of fun doing these up. If I can remember correctly I did them both up the same day while watching the Spawn Animated cartoon series, which kick ass I might add ha ha.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre-1974

So it's that time of the week again folks! It's Friday which means new movie review time! This week movie is another classic an one that I enjoy a lot ha ha, this week classic is a slasher from 1974. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I hope you enjoy it folks!

The poster for this one, isn't a over the top detailed one, but with the little detail there is,an with the general look of leatherface an the girl in the back, you pretty much get a feel of how this movie is going to turn out.

Plot:Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) and her brother Franklin (Paul A. Partain) travel with three friends, Jerry (Allen Danziger), Kirk (William Vail), and Pam (Teri McMinn) to a cemetery containing the grave of the Hardestys' grandfather. They aim to investigate reports of vandalism and of corpse-defilement. Afterward, they decide to visit an old Hardesty family homestead, and on the way, the group picks up a hitchhiker (Edwin Neal). The man speaks and acts bizarrely, and then slashes himself and Franklin with a straight razor before the group force him out of their van. The group stop at a gas station to fuel their vehicle, but when they find out from the proprietor (Jim Siedow) that the pumps are empty, the group continues to the homestead, intending to return to the gas station later after a fuel truck makes its delivery. Franklin tells Kirk and Pam about a local swimming hole, and the couple heads off to find it. Instead, they stumble upon a nearby house. Kirk decides to ask the residents for some gas, while Pam waits on the front steps.
Receiving no answer but finding the door unlocked, Kirk enters the house; Leatherface (Gunnar Hansen) suddenly appears and kills him. Pam enters soon after, to find the house filled with furniture made from human bones. She attempts to flee but Leatherface catches her and impales her on a meathook. At sunset, Sally's boyfriend Jerry heads out from the house to look for the others. Finding the couple's blanket outside the house, he investigates and finds Pam still alive inside a freezer. Before he can react, Leatherface appears and murders him, stuffing Pam back inside the freezer afterward.
With darkness falling, Sally and Franklin set out to find their friends. As they near the killer's house, calling for the others, Leatherface lunges out of the darkness and murders Franklin with a chainsaw. Sally escapes to the house only to find the desiccated remains of an elderly couple in an upstairs room. With Leatherface still pursuing her, she jumps through a second floor window and continues to flee, eventually arriving at the gas station. As she reaches it, Leatherface disappears into the night. The proprietor at first calms her with offers of help, then binds her with rope and forces her into his truck. He drives to the house, arriving at the same time as the hitchhiker, who turns out to be Leatherface's younger brother. When the pair bring Sally inside, the hitchhiker taunts her when he realizes who she is.
The men torment the bound and gagged Sally while Leatherface, now dressed as a woman, serves dinner. Leatherface and the hitchhiker bring the old man from upstairs, still alive, to the table to join the meal. During the night, they decide Sally should be killed by "Grandpa" (John Dugan), out of respect for his work at the slaughter house when he was younger. "Grandpa" is too weak to hit Sally with a hammer, repeatedly dropping it. In the confusion, Sally breaks free, leaps through a window and escapes from the house, running out onto the road. Leatherface and the hitchhiker give chase, but the hitchhiker is run down and killed by a passing semi-trailer truck. Armed with his chainsaw, Leatherface attacks the truck when the driver stops to help, and is hit in the face with a large wrench wielded by the driver. Sally escapes in the bed of a passing pickup truck as Leatherface waves the chainsaw above his head in frustration.

My Thoughts: This movie is a true classic all the way. Sure Leatherface is not as iconic as Freddy or Jason or Michael, an sure he hasn't had as many movies as they have but he still stands the test of time. This movie goes places that some others don't you actually feel for the kids in the movie an can actually feel there pain. The set up to this movie makes you believe it really is a true story. From start to finish this is a well rounded movie that you will never get bored of, it's not meant for everyone That's for sure, there are some gory parts even for back then but it still one hell of a movie. I give this a perfect 5 out of 5 bloody fingers!

The House On Haunted Hill-1959

So it's that time of the week again folks! it's Friday an time for a new movie review. This week I picked a true classic from one of the best Vincent Price. This film is a true classic an it also has a pretty sweet looking movie poster!, I hope you all enjoy it folks!

Plot:House on Haunted Hill is the tale of five people invited to stay the night in a haunted house by an eccentric millionaire, Fredrick Loren, who is throwing the "party" for his fourth wife, Annabelle, with the stipulation that the power will be out and all doors will be locked at midnight, allowing no accessible escape. Anyone who stays in the house for the entire night, given that they are still alive, will each receive $10,000.
The five guests all arrive in separate funeral cars with a hearse leading, which he explains may be empty now, but they may be in need of it later. He explains the rules of the party and gives each of the guests a .45 calibre pistol for protection. Loren's wife tries to warn the guests that her husband is psychotic, causing them to be very suspicious of him, especially Nora Manning, who becomes convinced that he's trying to kill her when she keeps seeing mysterious ghouls, including the ghost of Annabelle, who had hanged herself after being forced to attend the party.
After being driven into a fit of hysteria by the ghosts haunting her, Nora shoots Mr. Loren, assuming he is going to kill her. Dr. Trent, another guest, tries to get rid of the body by pushing it into acid, but the lights go out, and when they come back on, both of the men are gone. Annabelle emerges, having faked her death with the help of Dr. Trent, and having apparently tricked Nora into killing Loren. Suddenly, a skeleton emerges from the acid accompanied by the voice of Loren. The spectre approaches Annabelle as she recoils in terror. In this panic, the screaming Annabelle accidentally backs into the acid herself. The real Mr. Loren walks out of the shadow, holding the contraption that he was using to control the skeleton of Dr. Trent. In his triumph, he watches Annabelle disintegrate.
Nora tells the other guests that she's shot Loren in the cellar, and they all rush down there. When they arrive, they see that he's actually alive, and he explains to them that his wife and Dr. Trent were having an affair, and that the "haunting" was just a joke planned by him with the help of the caretakers. He also tells them that they'd planned to trick Nora into murdering him so that they could get away with his money. He had not loaded Nora's guns with bullets, but blanks. Just when everyone thinks the trauma is finally over, Mr. Pritchard, the house owner, looks up, a terrified expression on his face, and announces that the ghosts are finally coming for them.

My Thoughts: This is a true classic from Vincent Price, by far the best version of this movie. It has some nice good scares an shock in it. In my opinion this is one of Price better movies, but thats just my opinion his best to me will always be The Last Man On Earth but back to the movie haha. I think if your a classic movie fan then this one for sure is a must watch. It's very well made an wrote an directed. I also found it to be pretty original for it's time to an very exciting when you first watch it cause you never really know what will happen next. A overall well put together classic. I give this movie 4.5 out of 5 Bloody Fingers!

Monster Makin 101 Ghoul Clown

This month was just a normal Ghoul sketch, I wanted to do something differnet so I made mine a Clown Ghoul, gave him like a broke nose an disfiguried face an what not, It took about roughly guessing an hour to hour 40mins some where around there, spent alot of time trying to make the hair look cool. Night Of the Living Dead-1968

So it's another Friday folks, means new horror movie review time! Tonight I picked a classic that's near an dear to my heart. It is actually one of my very first horror movies I ever watched when I was five years old! it's Romero's classic black & white zombie film Night Of The Living Dead

Plot:Siblings Barbra (Judith O'Dea) and Johnny (Russell Streiner) drive to a rural Pennsylvania cemetery to place a cross with flowers on their father's grave. Johnny teases his sister, afraid of cemeteries: "They're coming to get you, Barbra!" Suddenly, a pale skinned man (S. William Hinzman) grabs Barbra, and Johnny rushes to save her. A fight occurs, and Johnny is ultimately overpowered and killed when he falls and hits his head on a tombstone. Barbra flees the scene, pursued by the man. Finding refuge in an empty house, she discovers a mutilated corpse at the top of the stairs. The home's telephone is offline and of no use (because her pursuer has just destroyed the cord connecting the house to the phone box on a power pole).
While attempting to flee the house, she encounters Ben (Duane Jones), who brings her back into quarantine and later defends the house against straggling zombies. This is followed by an intense argument about Barbara's desire to search for Johnny. After a brief struggle, Barbra collapses in shock, and Ben carries her to a couch. Ben boards up the doors and windows from the inside, and takes a chair outside and scares off the attackers by setting it afire. Ben finds a rifle and a radio as Barbra lies catatonic.
The two are unaware that Harry and Helen Cooper (Karl Hardman and Marilyn Eastman), their daughter Karen (Kyra Schon), and young couple Tom (Keith Wayne) and Judy (Judith Ridley) have been hiding in the cellar until later. One of the attackers bit Karen earlier and she has fallen ill. Harry wants the group to barricade themselves in the cellar, but Ben argues that they would effectively be trapping themselves. Ben carries the argument, its opposition mounted exclusively by Harry Cooper, and the group cooperates to reinforce the main part of the house.

The ghouls swarm around the house, searching for living human flesh.
Radio reports explain that an epidemic of mass murder is sweeping across the eastern seaboard. Later, Ben discovers a television upstairs and the emergency broadcaster reveals that the creatures are consuming the flesh of their victims. A subsequent broadcast reports that the murders are being perpetrated by the recently deceased who have returned to life, dubbed 'ghouls'. Experts, scientists and military are not sure of the cause of the reanimation, but one scientist is certain that it is the result of radioactive contamination from a space probe that exploded in the Earth's atmosphere. A final report instructs that a gunshot or heavy blow to the head will stop the ghouls and that posses of armed men are patrolling the countryside to restore order.
Ben devises a plan to escape using the truck involving all of the men in the house. The truck is in need of fuel, so Ben and Tom go to an outside gas pump while Harry hurls Molotov cocktails from an upper window. On the way out the door, Judy fears for Tom's safety and chases after him. Upon arriving at the pump, Ben places a torch on the ground next to the truck. Tom loses control of the pump, splashing gasoline onto the torch, starting a fire that quickly engulfs the vehicle. Tom tries to drive the truck away from the gas pumps to avoid further damage, but when he goes to exit the truck, Judy gets stuck. Tom goes back into the truck to help her but before they can get out the truck explodes, killing them both. Ben runs back to the house to find that Harry has locked him out. He kicks the door open and, in a fury, fiercely beats Harry.

The Cooper family, above, had been hiding in the cellar of the empty house where Ben was battling a horde of zombies.
Some of the undead horde converges upon the truck and begin eating Tom and Judy's charred remains. Meanwhile, others try to break through the doors and windows of the house. Ben manages to hold them back, but drops his rifle. Harry seizes the fallen rifle and turns it on Ben, who wrestles it away from Harry and shoots him. Harry stumbles into the cellar, finds Karen dead, and dies.
Shortly after, Helen discovers that her daughter, Karen, has been transformed into one of the ghouls and is consuming her father's corpse. Karen repeatedly stabs her mother with a cement trowel, killing her, before going upstairs. Meanwhile, the undead finally break into the house and Barbra sees her brother Johnny among them. She lets her guard down and is pulled into the horde and killed. Ben retreats into the cellar, locking the door behind him, ironically taking the course of action that Harry had recommended in the first place. The zombies, including Karen, Johnny and the man who attacked Barbra and Johnny at the start of the film, try to break in. Ben shoots the reanimated Harry and Helen Cooper, and waits for the morning rays.
In the morning, a posse approaches the house, hunting the remaining ghouls. Hearing the commotion, Ben ambles up the cellar stairs into the living room. Sheriff McClelland (George Kosana) spots him through a window, and, mistaking him for a zombie, has one of the posse members shoot him in the head, killing him. Still shots are shown of the posse members dragging Ben's body from the house and placing it on a pyre, next to the zombie that had attacked Barbra at the start of the film, as the closing credits roll. The film ends with a brief clip of the pyre burning.

My Thoughts: I might be a tad bit bias on this one, but personally I think this film is the king of all zombie films in my mind. I think the story is very good an the characters all come off great. Now the zombies don't have much to them but come on from 1968 they still look cool in black an white if you ask me. There are some nice gory parts especially when the truck blows up an the zombies feed on the dead bodies. I could go on about this movie all night long if I wanted to. I think it has alot of special parts here an there, it is also a must watch for any zombie fan in my mind, I highly recommend it to any zombie fan or horror fan in general for that matter. I give this one a perfect 5 out of 5 Bloody Fingers!

Tell Me No More Lies Sketch

So yesterday an this morning I started a new sketch, called "Tell Me No More Lies" The idea behind this is pretty simple guy tells non-stop lies an sooner or later the evil from hell starts to take over his body an you have a "Tell Me No More Lies" victim. It was created very very randomly over the weekend but I have to say I love it. One of the reason I did it was because i've been doing comic pages which I can't show just yet so I wanted to do some for everyone to see,seeing I haven't posted anything new since the "Nightmare On Elm Street" piece. I also plan on inking it sooner or later not sure when yet. Might be the first of a selection of Creator Owned Horror Prints too, I will keep everyone updated on that news when the time comes.Heres another sketch I did up over the weekend when I had about 30mins or so of free time. I never got around to finishing it, but it's so to be a picture of myself from the side if I was a zombie. At least what I think I would look like as an infected more of a Rage type. Of course it doesn't look 100% like me at least I don't think it does, an didn't bother adding a beard like I have cause I wanted to add more jawline detail, it's all just a practice piece for when I do more zombie art in the near future

Some Older Clive Barker Sketches!

Heres some older sketches I dug out of my picture vault. Only done about a year or so ago but still old to me haha. These are all inspired by his writing. I am a huge fan of the characters he creates he has some very awesome ones. Also a big fan of the NightBreed series have some of the comics an the movie is pretty cool too! I'll start of first by showing off some NightBreed inspired work I hope you like it folks.

Heres a piece that I did of Pinhead from the Hellraiser series, a very cool character all around. This piece was done with a more cartoony look then the others, at least to me it does with the shape of the face an stuff. This was around the time when I was deciding on doing more cartoony or real looking stuff, an well I went for more real darker stuff an I'm glad I went with it, I personally think the stuff of late hasd been the best stuff i've ever done an it just keeps getting better in my opinion. I hope you enjoy the Pinhead sketch folks. I plan on doing a Candyman piece in the future like my Fido,Nightmare On Elm Street & Addams Family pieces too. Not sure on when that will be though.

Motel Hell-1980

So today I decided I would start something new on the site. I thought I would do a movie sort of review thing on Friday Nights. To keep the site updated more seeing at the time being I can't show off the stuff I am doing seeing they are comic pages for my new book! so you will all have to wait till the book is done an out to see the pages. So tonight is the first night so lets hope the movie review goes well, tonight's movie is a classic from 1980. Motel Hell! Hope you all enjoy folks! heres the plot of the movie "not I didn't write the plot I looked it up so it's 100% correct"

Plot-'Farmer Vincent Smith (Rory Calhoun) and his younger sister Ida (Nancy Parsons) live on a farm with a motel attached. It's called Motel Hello, but the O on the sign constantly flicks on and off). Vincent makes smoked meats said to be the most delicious in the surrounding area. Vincent's secret is human flesh, and Vincent has the areas around his isolated motel strewn with various booby traps to catch victims. The victims are placed in a 'secret garden' where they are buried up to their necks and have their vocal cords cut so they cannot scream: Vincent keeps them until they are ready and then kills them. Ida helps, and seems to enjoy it, whereas Vincent seems rather calm and certain in his belief he's not doing anything wrong.
The movie opens with Vincent shooting out the tires of a motorcycle a couple is riding on: The male (Bo) is placed in the garden, but Vincent takes a shine to the young female (Terry) and brings her to the motel. The next morning, Vincent's naïve and mild-mannered younger brother sheriff Bruce (Paul Linke) (unlike Ida, Bruce is not aware of his brother's secret) arrives, and Vincent tells Terry that her boyfriend died in the accident and that he buried him: a trip to the graveyard shows a crude grave marker placed there by Vincent. Terry, having nowhere else to go, decides to stay at the motel.
Most of the film consists of Vincent (with Ida's help) capturing more victims for his garden (first a health inspector for Vincent's pigs who spies the hidden garden by chance, goes to investigate, and then becomes part of it; then a van full of drugged-up band members) while using his folksy charm to woo Terry, much to Bruce's dislike, who tries to woo her himself without much success. Vincent captures more victims (a pair of women, one of whom manages to flee in her car, but apparently faints from the stress of her terror after a brief chase, allowing Vincent to capture her, and then a pair of swingers who show up with a false ad that the motel is a swinger's paradise), and then suggests he may teach Terry to smoke meat. Ida finds out about this and, jealous of Terry, attempts to drown her in the pond (by luring her out there to play on inner tubes), but Vincent comes in time and saves her. This proves to be a catalyst for Terry, who tries to seduce Vincent (he stops her, claiming it would not be proper until they were married) and then agrees to marry him.
Bruce, unhappy that he's 'lost' Terry, drives down to the motel once he hears the news and bursts into the bathroom to protest Terry's choice (and during his rant to slander his brother claims his brother has 'syphilis of the brain', which might explain Vincent's calmness towards murder and cannibalism), but Vincent appears and chases his brother off with a shotgun. Having decided to have the wedding tomorrow, Vincent, Terry, and Ida share a glass of champagne, but Ida drugs the champagne to knock Terry out so she and Vincent can prepare some of the garden victims (presumably for the wedding feast tomorrow). Meanwhile, Bruce, still angry over losing, starts doing some detective work on a few strange things he's noticed and starts to feel that something is not quite right at his brother's farm.
Vincent and Ida kill three of the band members (by hypnotising them, then tying nooses around their necks, attaching the rope to a tractor, and driving the tractor to break their necks) and pull them out of the ground to take to Vincent's meat processing plant. However, doing so seems to loosen the dirt around Bo, as he begins to try to escape. Bruce sneaks back to the motel to try to rescue Terry, but Ida returns to the motel for a snack and overhears Bruce trying to get Terry to leave. Ida ambushes Bruce when he leaves the room and knocks him out, and then takes Terry at gunpoint to the meat processing plant. Meanwhile, Bo escapes and frees the other victims in the garden.
Vincent, upset that his 'love' found out his secret the way she did, sends Ida back to the motel to fetch his brother, but the victims, having escaped (and in a nod to zombie films, have staggered around groaning and hissing due to their cut vocal cords), ambush her and knock her out. Terry tries to escape the meat processing plant, but the door is locked and Vincent sadly knocks Terry out with gas, and then ties her to a conveyor belt, apparently planning to kill her too. He is interrupted by Bo, who crashes into the meat plant via an overhead window and brawls with Vincent, but he is weak from being trapped in the garden for so long and Vincent strangles him.
Bruce awakens, finds one of his brother's shotguns, and goes to the meat packing room himself, but finds that his brother has armed himself with a giant chainsaw (and placed a pig's head over his own as a gruesome mask). Vincent manages to disarm his brother, but Bruce grabs his own chainsaw and proceeds to have a violent duel with Vincent (later parodied in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), in the process turning on the conveyor belt Terry is tied to, sending her slowly towards a meat cutting blade. Despite suffering several wounds, Bruce drives the chainsaw into his Vincent's side for a mortal wound. Bruce frees Terry and then returns with her to his wounded brother, who gasps his final words, leaving the farm and 'secret garden' to Bruce, and then lamenting that his whole life was a lie and he was the biggest hypocrite of all ("My... meat... I... I... used... preservatives!") before he dies.
Bruce and Terry go to the secret garden and find Ida buried in it as revenge... head first (of the victims there is no sign, they seem to have wandered off somewhere, presumably getting help), and then head past the motel, while Bruce comments on how he had no idea what was going on and was glad he'd run away when he was eleven. Terry suggests they just burn the motel, claiming it's evil. The sign saying MOTEL HELLO finally fully shorts out, permanently darkening the O and leaving the title: MOTEL HELL'

My thoughts: for the movie I thought it was very entertaining from start to finish,very unique an special in it's own rights, an a must watch for fans of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series of movies an a must watch for horror fans in general in my opinion of course, the chainsaw fight with Farmer Vincent when he has the pig head on at the end was just amazing!in my opinion. I think there should be more movies like this now adays. I give this movie 4.5 Bloody Fingers out of 5

Remake News! A remake of Motel Hell is in talks, potentially directed by Steven C. Miller of Automaton Transfusion fame.

Gore Shriek!!

Holy Crap!! I colored something for once haha. This piece was also done for Comicmonsters.com(Horrornewsnetwork.net) 31 Days Of Halloween event. It was a coloring contest an the winner got a boat load of books from Asylum Press I think can't remeber. I just did it for fun didn't have many colors to pick from haha. I did this all with 0.4 pens/makers I found at the local dollar store, did it all while watching FIDO for the first time. Pretty happy with how it turned out actually not pro coloring but I still like it for what I had to use, & lets just face it, it is a freaking awesome cover to color!

31 Days Of Halloween Pin-up

Heres a pin-up that I did for fun for Comicmonsters(now Horrornewsnetwork.net) 31 Days of Halloween event last year. For those of you that don't know what that is during the month of OCT on the site they have trivia an give aways an they give away free comics,movie,art etc. It's a very fun time an I recommend you check it out one of these years. The colors an lettering for this piece of course are done by Chris McQuaid of McHozer Comics! he did another great job with them as always. As for why I picked Ghost Rider to be in the piece he just seemed like a good pick for it, just seems like he would scare some punk at halloween whos stealing some little kids candy. Hope you like it folks!

Some other news, I will be uploading a list of Horror Movies that I will be doing fan art/tribute/homage pieces call them what you like. The list will be to let everyone know what they can expect in the future, there will be no set deadline for the pieces, also anyone an everyone is more then welcome to comment an say which films they think I should do pieces on. Nightmare On Elm Street Piece

Here are the pencils for my first ever Nightmare On Elm Street piece, it's more based off a mix of new an old but I think looks more like the new version but thats just me. I really enjoyed doing this piece watched the last couple NOES movie while doing this piece up so it was pretty fun time, was alot of fun doing all the face details, i'm overall really happy with how it turned out. I hope to start inking it as soon as I can an have it done soon, so I hope you all like it folks!

Also Freddy use to be the only character that use to actually scare me when I was a little kid, so it was fun to go back an re-watch the last 4 movies or so, he's actually a really cool character!

Tonight I thought I would take some time out to post some older stuff from a couple years ago, haha seems so long ago. I'll started off first with a piece I did for fun of a Slapstick comic page. I think from issue 2 or 3. He's a fun character to draw so I thought it would be fun to do an for practice on drawing pages an panels an such seeing this was back when I was just getting into comics. This was also back when I was deciding which paths I wanted to go Cartoony or more real looking an superhero or Horror stuff, an we all know which one I went with haha.Also heres another older piece, that I did for the Deadmen & Poodleskirts comic series. This one is also a couple years old now i'm thinking. It was a pin-up cover sketch, looking back on it now I can see a "Huge" art improvement as least I do personally, this is nothing compared to my Fido & Addam Family pieces in my opinion of course. I still think it's a good piece, i'm just alot happier with my stuff as of late. This piece also when colored an stuff was gonna be a Tales From The Crypt homage style cover.

So I was on the Comicmonsters forum(now known as the Horrornewsnetwork.net same site as before but now with more stuff movies an games an such so go CHECK IT OUT!!) but yea back to the topic at hand I was checking my art an I noticed I reached a mile stone for my artwork. I went over 20,000+ views, which is a big deal to me being a comic artist in the middle of nowhere in Ontario Canada. When I first started posting my stuff to forums couple years ago I never figured I would reach that much but it's a great feeling to have reach it on just one of the forums I use. Here is some more older stuff I thought I would show off. First i'm going to show off a practice comic page that I worked on last year with a Clive Barker "Hatebreed" character in it. I just did it for fun, nothing serious just on printer paper when I was watching Hatebreed one day. I think I was trying out a new ink pen that day too.

Heres a sketch I did up for my bud Decapitated Dan Royer from The Tomb Magazine, first time ever doing a ice man, an only my second zombie superhero I think, the first be the Thor one of course. Overall happy with how this one turned out, was done sometime last year too, hope you folks like it!

The Addams Family

Here are the pencils for my new monster movie/tv show art piece. This piece is of the Addams Family for anyone who didn't know it. I got the idea to do this one from the better half. I made Wednesday & Pugsley & Lurch the main focus cause there mine an Golden favourite from the show. It's based more off of the New Addams Family tv show that use to be on. I might do another piece an have the other charcters more in it but im not sure yet have to wait an see. I hope you all like it. I hope to have it inked in a week or so maybe sooner not sure have to wait an see.

[UPDATE] so it's friday April 3oth day before Free Comic Book Day,an now I just got the Addams Family inks done earlier today, so here they are folks hope you like it, I think the inks make it really stand out.

Heres some older superhero artwork that I did up last year sometime. First off heres a spiderman piece im pretty happy with. This is the first time i've ever done rain effects in a piece, an I think I pulled it over pretty good. I think the piece has a nice look an feel too it. I hope you all like it

Heres a new piece im doing in my 11x14' sketch book, it's Fido from the zombie movie "Fido". Here are the pencils for it so far, the inks will be comming soon, I am very happy with how this one turn out. I think it's one of my better ones to date. For anyone who has not yet seen "Fido" you are missing out really you are. It is one of the better zombie movies as of late, it doesn't take it self to seriously but thats whats so great about it, it's an all around fun watch an I fully recommend you see it as soon as possible!

I also plan on doing tons more horror movie related art so keep an eye out for the stuff ghoulies, Hope you like it!

Heres a Phantom Of The Opera warm-up sketch. This one was just done on some normal printer paper took a couple hours, I plan on doing a bigger better one in my 11x14 sketch book, going to ink this one up sooner. I thought it would be a cool horror piece to do seeing theres not alot of Phantom Of The Opera art out there that I know of other then Basil Gogo's amazing paintings. I also used a statue that I found on the web for reference on this piece. Hope you all like it folks!

Hey folks, So today I thoguth I would take some time to post part of a story im starting to write, called "Dead Men Diaries" it's going to be a zombie style book. This is my first shot are writing something in book format, I've only ever done it in comic book format which is differnet. Also writing not my strong point, but it's something that i've liked for awhile & it's something i've always wanted to try so I thought i'd give it a shot i'll keep it updated as much as I can. I might also make a wordpress site just for the story an other stories but i'm not sure yet just have to wait an see. Hope you all like it so far folks!

Dead Men Diaries

The wind howls in the night, the shutters of the old house smash against the broken beaten siding, the sound echo's through out the house. All the halls are darkened the light from the moon, creeps through the cracks of the boarded up windows, The sound of the wind send chills through the body,they raise the hair on the back of my neck. I see a old wooden staircase in front of me,the railings old paint is peeling from the wood. I wonder to my self what lies at the top of these stairs, I slowly make my way up the old steps, each step making a cracking sound worse then the last, I think to my self “why am I making my way up here, why do I care what lies upstairs of this old abandon house, why am I here” All I know is that I have to do this. I finally make my way to the top of the stairs an am face with a long hall way, even less light makes if through the windows, The wind is still howling, it's starting to pick up, giving my gut a even worse feeling about whats going to happen. I stand at the top of the stairs, staring right at what looks like a door, it slowly creaks open as the wind howls shaking the walls of this old house. I put my hand on the wall beside the stair way to help guide my self down the hall way. The feeling of dust build up on my fingers I walk deeper down the hall way. Not a single picture on the wall of the previous family, house must have been abandoned for ages, As I make my way closer to the door it creaks open, I hear a a squeaking sound, I think to my self “Must just be the walls of the old house trying to settle as the wind pounds against it” I stop an stare at the door as the squeaking sound grows louder an gets eerier.

So heres a new sketch I started up earlier this week of chucky it's a work in progress, there is still some more things I want to do maybe add some more blood an wrinkles to his clothing, also at the bottom in the white empty spot im debating about adding "Chucky" or "Child's Play" into that spot maybe in a blood lettering, but im not sure yet I might just leave it an add more blood an detail to the clothing an stuff. So tonight I thought I would take the time to give a little update on my new creator owned comic series called Tales Of Dusk. It's going to be a Horror Anthology series in the vein of a "Tales From The Crypt" comic an also like my first comic I worked on with McHozer Comics called "Deadmen & Poodleskirts" which can be found in a earlier blogspot post. The stories in my series arn't going to be that short the first story is as it stands right now is about 83pages. This will be my first time writing a comic story myself so it's a fun adventure for sure. I already have the first 4 stories planned out not fully written yet but there mainly all planned out. Heres a run down for the first story which is called "Heartland Farm Terror", it's a tale about a group of teens out on a joyride in the backwoods of Ontario, Then they happen to run into the wrong brothers at the wrong time & have to try an survive in the woods not knowing what lerks in the woods an fields of the Heartland acres. How many will survive? Guess you will just have to wait an find out wont you! More info to come on this story an future stories! I'm working on a promo image as we speak for the "Heartland Farm Terror" story so keep your eyes out for it an maybe some character sketches comming soon, Take it easy ghoulies!

First off gonna show of a quick Frankenstein sketch that I did on a envelope it was about 20mins or so nothing to amazing pretty quick piece.

Next piece is just some random superhero quick sketches that I did up one night for fun. Turned out pretty decent I think for being pretty quick gonna guess around 40mins to an hour tops.

Just thought I would take this time out to show off some random sketches that I did up. I tend to do alot of random quick sketches at night. First off going to show off a werewolf one that I did, I've always been a werewolf fan seeing seeing the movies "Bad Moon" & "Silver Bullet", the face on this is more of Wolf-Man style to me which i'm very happy with. Plan on doing more werewolf stuff in the future!

Next is a quick spider-man green goblin sketch that I did up one night, was pretty quick an not that big of a piece, but it was a fun one to do, always liked spidey & Green goblin, always thought they were pretty cool characters, Hope you like it folks!

Not a horror piece, but one of my new pieces from a couple months ago or so that I'm really happy with. my first black costume spider-man. I've always been a fan of the black spider-man the most, just more darker an edgy to me which in my mind makes him a badass. A work in progress in my sketch book. I'm a huge "Tales From the Crypt" fan an wanted to do some more fan art for it, an I like the "Bordello Of Blood" movie poster so I thought I would do a tribute/homeage piece for it. So here it is so far, i'm gonna work more on the hand an the glass an maybe his chin but other then that it's almost done for the pencils. I hope you all dig it so far. [UPDATED] here is the inked version of it, sorry the scan a lil crappy on the one side it's a piece done in my sketch book so you have to press down on it a lil when scanning. Here are some sketches for today, first off will start off with a GWAR sketch that i did for fun for a friend, he wanted too see me version of the band GWAR, so I took some time out to do some pretty quick sketches of them. I will hopefully do some more GWAR stuff in the future some more sketches that are more then just head shots of them.

Next I just thought i'd show of some other quick Rob Zombie head sketches that I did a month or two ago. I'm a big fan of Zombie work from film, to music & comics, so I was thinking what to sketch for fun an just saw my Rob Zombie cd case on my desk so started drawing him. Also did a "Big Daddy" from land Of The Dead sketch from memory not so good but yea haha. Also add some other random head sketches that I did around the same time when I was woking on facial looks/personalities an such. Hope you like them folks.

Dear Creepy & Eerie

So heres some pretty new piece ive done up also in the new sketch book first piece is a Mr Creepy piece from the old Creepy comics, which i'm a big fan of, an i just knew sooner or later that I needed to do a piece up of him, These are just the pencils I still have to ink it, hopefully sometime soon if I can get some free time to work on it. Hope you all like it!

Next piece is a very new piece did it last week, it's a piece of Eerie an some random characters I drew up at the last minute, cause I wasn't happy with a blank background, So I added in a Grim Reaper type character an another zombie type creature for fun. I hope to ink this one sometime soon when I can, I also plan on doing more of Uncle Creepy & Cousin Eerie as soon as I can, Hope you like them Ghoulies!

Frankenstein & Bride

The first piece in my new sketch book that I got a few months back. It's a tribute/homage piece to an old Frankenstein poster I saw an also to all the old Frankenstein an Bride movies. It's a 11x14 peice an I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It was a fun piece that I was wanting to do for a while now & im happy to actually been able to get it started an done all at once! Should have more Frankenstein & Bride artwork comming in the future an might do a short story to have to wait an see.

Art Of TypH

Hello everyone, it's me Brian again also known more as "TypH", The reason I am making a new blogspot site is due to all my "Art Of TypH" threads on horror forums & comics forums such as Comicmonsters.com, Rue Morgue, Fangoria, Steve Niles Forum,IDW,Dark Horse & a list of other sites, an more sites to come. So I figured it would be good to make a new blogspot to collect all my horror artwork together, Seeing that my main focus is all on Horror comics, with that being said I am also writing an drawing my own creator owned series which is still in pre-production most of the writing is done for it an the character sketches will be comming soon. The comic will be posted as a webcomic at first an then later on collected into comic format at a later date. I will create another post talking about that later on.
